this horribly draining week is over! i wonder how long i can last under this mad rush and revision. more prepared but not prepared for the prelims. so much to memorise, a math mock paper this tuesday and i haven't even got friendly with math except vectors which i spent a good few days on. there are simply not enough 'few days' to go around.
oh good the napfa is over and me no get gold because of the pull ups. but my run timing improved to 13:20+, :):):) that was the last mass pe i had, no more pe.
and i've been visiting the airport the last couple'a days. it's really an interesting and non-monotonous place. a break from typical orchard town. you see people arrive leave, not on a mrt train(although yes there is an mrt station) but on a plane. passengers check-in, duty-free shops, conveyor belts of luggages not sushi, people lounging around while waiting for their flights. and it so happens that at the same comfortable cafe they're lounging, there are these mugger bookworm JC students studying. do students in other countries study at the airport? not as much as we do. it's quite a weird thing to do at the airport. so why?
1. libraries have fixed studying times and you can't talk in there, let alone have food beside you.
2. you can't deny that singapore's airport is nice spacious and clean and it's like a food mall! coffee bean, starbucks, delifrance... muffins and cheesecake and coffee and pastries
3. change of environment. (i think we're more creative already!) yeah a study break means walking around the airport and going to the spanking clean toilets, using toilet seat cleaner, filling up water bottles at auto water drinking fountains.
i also like the airport because airport = holidays = enjoyment and right now i want to go on a trip but i can't so i'll just have to physically get nearer to that. hahaha.

howdy hoho.
today i went to the sengkang polyclinic for the first time. and was pretty blur. i mistook the 4 digit numbers at the payment and pharmarcy counters for the N3digit ones on the queue number. so i thought 'long way to go', so we went to explore the CC and did abit of tutorial. then walked back to check, oh no saw wrong number right, ok take another number but by the time we packed our stuff, missed the number again. took queue numbers a total of 3 times. :P
polyclinics are good, they set you back by $4, gives you an official MC. the long wait is another thing but if you can find something to do during that 30mins or so, it's bearable and worth the wait. hope you had fun at the national day celebrations if you were in school
why do some children in generation YZ (if i'm genY then those who are in pre/primary school now are YZ) lead such a high-class lifestyle. they take starbucks for their teabreak can. i only had biscuits and milo and watched the 3.30pm chinese drama serial. i don't think my parents bought me starbucks muffin and cheesecakes.
yesterday i went to gelare with my mom (this is for hsbc $1 offer and no i still do not get starbucks for teabreak) and my parents think that maybe i should go into the event planner type of business, more on the PR service side. not a bad idea i'll consider that! :] or the nutrition business.
ok bye go out have fun.

i haven't been online for quite awhile i've been getting acquainted with the dining table (the makeshift study table because the study room is not conducive for studying at all. neither is the dining table, but at least it has more space for me to sprawl books and notes over) i've also been faithfully trying to clear newspaper backlog. one has to pay for not reading papers daily. and of course, watching more tv, eating more good food. recently i've had an influx of chocolate stuff. my mom brings home a box of brownies from 'the brownie factory', a box of truffles, my dad buys low fat cadbury chocolate vanilla icecream(which goes very well with the brownies :))
and to top it off, there was no proper PE lesson this week. :/ yesterday was the day of three tests in a day, one every lesson. brings me back to regretting last year. i'm really not used to this life of studying every night i'm almost nocturnal i sleep in the afternoon, stay up to 2+am, sleep till 6am. i think i'm a short day plant with lots of slots of light interruptions. i still have a long way to go in catching up i fear the prelims. countdown: 1 month.
i want to watch 'the devil wears prada'
