HONG KONG (day 1 & 2)
this is going to a long, image-heavy post :)
thank God for the weather. although it was extremely hot and humid, it didn't rain. and no rain is good because rain would have foiled our plans. we enjoyed ourselves alot (except for lamma, fat kid and queue cutters)

waiting to board

hk lights as seen from the plane

hk airport. very big and spacious

streets at night. really busy and crowded until 12mn.even after that they're still bustling. shops open till around 12 or later. bright neon-lighted advertisements everywhere. also on the roads are, many many taxis, BMWs, Mercs...

egg-shaped waffle balls.

my mango dessert on the first night! their mango dessert there roxxxx your soxxxx. smooth mango puree with fresh mangoes and mango ice. after this it was mangoland for a couple more suppers.
OCEAN PARK

bummed into grace shermeen rushan and their cousin there.

ferris wheel :)
the peacockguy on stilts who rambled on in cantonese. so irritating
the rides
the abyss- turbo drop! the first drop was pretty scary but after that it was fine. this is about 7 or 8 stories high i estimate.
ocean tower. revolving tower which lets you get a panoramic view of the park and beyond.

the dragon, abyss and ferris wheel. the dragon is a roller coaster with a few loops. not very big loops though. first time i'm on a loopy roller coaster okayyy.
the space wheel. up, upside down, down, up, upside down, down....
to spin dry after riding the raging river.

viking ship ride. they go almost 90degrees!
green tongues after sno-ice (which is a waste of money btw)
jelly fish!

dolphin and seal show.

cable car ride. very cool cos there are so many cable cars and the hill is quite steep.

jiajia and lele.the pandas from china.

hot air balloons. pretty!

we are in a grounded hot-air balloon because we weren't in time for the real deal.

the typical hong kong mtr station. filled with people at any time of the day. their mtr station is similar to our mrt stations, just that they are less lazy and only have stairs at the exits, their trains are twice the length of ours, and they have blinking lights to inform you of the train's progress and which side to exit.

nice view before our MAN FUNG lamma ferry nightmare. you don't want to know what happened to us. let's just say we didn't find a place because we went the wrong way so we ate at some other MF place and had the worst dinner ever. but we escaped (literally) so that's all that matters. but it will be etched in our memories forever. 20 years down the road we'll still link bad food to this. but even bad food can't be as bad as this. so appreciate what you eat.

mango dessert again.
